Slow Going...

A slow, minimally productive couple of weeks. I get in to the studio and just don't feel it. When I try, I end up wasting as much paint as I use productively.

Even a trip to the Phillips didn't help. Much of the third floor was closed off for installation of their next big show. And while their permanent collection is spectacular, sometimes I need the new and different to spur my own creativity.

Working on paper is appealing, but I find myself going round and round about the paper size and showing it later and presentation and on and on.

I think I just need to get going - hands and knees - scrubbing paint into paper on the floor, with oil sticks and acrylics and what all, maybe even collage.

So how's that for a plan?
